Fletcher to sell paper division to Norske Skog in a cash deal

Fletcher Challenge Ltd. is selling its paper unit to Norske Skog ASA for US$2.5 billion (2.61 billion euros) in cash. The deal is the largest foreign acquisition ever made by a Norwegian firm.
