Fresh-produce retailer Pete's Frootique of Bedford, Nova Scotia, has grown from a C$230 fruit and vegetable stall in 1979 into the one of the most successful grocery chain in terms of marketing styles. Company owner Peter Luckett built the entire grocery empire on the strength of his one-man showmanship which sparked consumer interests on the company's products. Part of the Frootique group are four other stores: Pete's European Deli, The British Butcher, Pete's Power Juice Bar amd Toooodleeedooo!!, which sells an assortment of British goods.
