France: Riches-Monts innovations and promotions
Article Abstract:
The Fromageries Riches-Monts has introduced a 1- kg tray of sliced raclette cheese in order to relieve the delicatessen creamery counters. It offers an 800-gram block of raclette and 500 grams of cheese for tartiflettes. There will be 300 tastings-events in French hypermarkets from September to December 2001, and in November 2001 FFr 50 will be reimbursed for the purchase of 800 grams at delicatessen counters or in self-service.

France: A prize for Soignon

Soignon won the 'city-centre innovation' prize in the chilled dairy foods, cheese, and creamery products category at the Monop Show 2001 for its P'tit Chevre. This product is a small cylinder-shaped goat cheese for snacking, and it is sold in boxes of five units of 25 grams.
