Freeserve shares drop as loss widens

Freeserve PLC saw its share value fall following the announcement that the company posted a widening a loss for the quarter ending on August 21, 1999. Freeserve posted 5.2 million pound sterling (8.2 million euros) in operating losses for the quarter. During the previous 12-week period ending on May 1, the company posted 810,000 pound sterling in operating losses.

NTL reports strong results for 2nd quarter
