Friction on the Thai-Malay fault line
Article Abstract:
The recent worsening in the relationship between Thailand and Malaysia is discussed. The reasons for this recent deterioration in relationship between the two countries are also discussed. The two countries need each other for fighting Islamic terrorism. In an attempt to resolve the situation, Malaysia's former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad will be meeting Thailand's Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra in Bangkok.
