Frontier to affirm sale to partner Global Crossing
Article Abstract:
Frontier Corp. is expected to confirm its plans to be purchased by Global Crossing Ltd. after a takeover battle that lasted one month. Global will acquire Frontier for $11.1 billion (10.88 billion euros). Other major telecommunications firms in the US also attempted to acquire Frontier. Global Crossing is Frontier's partner. Frontier provides local and long-distance telephone services.
