Article Abstract:
Boom Tisk (BT) (Kolin, Czech Republic), printing firm, expects proceeds of CEK 95-100 mil in 2000. The firm saw proceeds of CEK 80 mil in 1999 compared to CEK 15 mil in 1995, which was the first year of its existence. The growth of the firm's profitability was supported by investments of CEK 55 mil in modern technology till 2000. BT with 100% Czech capital is one of the most important Czech printing firms in 2000. The firm is focused on the production of quality sales-promotion printed matters including leaflets, catalogues, booklets and posters. BT firm has 40 employees in 2000 compared to six employees in 1995.

Remoska
Article Abstract:
Remoska (Frenstat pod Radhostem, Czech Republic), electrical cooking pan manufacturer, saw a turnover of CEK 21 mil in 1999. The firm had 15 employees and total assets of CEK 11 mil in 1999. Its products line includes two cooking pans, Remoska Original and Remoska Grand with a capacity of 2 lt and 4 lt, a mass of 1.94 kg and 2.84 kg, and a nominal power input of 500 W and 650 W, respectively. The firm invested in the purchase of new technology and was awarded a licence by DuPont in 1999. Currently, the firm utilizes the anti-adhesive material Teflon Classic for surface finish.
