Gamesmanship: The Pie Man's Life Is No Piece of Cake
Article Abstract:
Penguin Software has created a nonviolent computer game with good graphics called Pieman. The idea is to decorate a pie as it comes off a conveyor belt and then carry it over to a pie bin and score points. As your skill increases so does the conveyer belt speed plus a number of obstacles crop up like grease spots and sacks of flour on the floor making it harder to score more points. Movement is guided by a joystick but picking up and setting down and other motions are controlled by separate keyboard keys. The graphics are nicely done.
