Dell warns of slowing revenue growth

Gateway blames chip shortage for shortfall in revenue and net

Gateway Inc. cautioned that it might post low revenues for the 1999 fourth-quarter due to a shortage of chips. The company is expecting to post approximately $2.45 billion (2.37 billion euros) in revenues. This would be $150 million below what analysts had predicted.
