Gazprom drills deeper into Europe
Article Abstract:
Russia's OAO Gazprom has announced intentions to grow from a natural gas supplier to an energy company by expanding its services in Europe. Plans include selling power and gas to consumers directly. Company officials estimate they will gain 14% of the United Kingdom's industrial and commercial market by 2011; however, industry analysts believe that might be too ambitious.
