Bridgestone/Firestone faces more complaints about tire failures; this time the Firestone Steeltex tires are being investigated. Steeltex tires are found on Ford and General Motors SUVs, pickup trucks and vans. Meanwhile, Goodyear and Michelin are scrambling to be ready with their own SUV tires for the automakers. And Brigestone is planning to reorganize management at Firestone, including the top post currently held by Masatoshi Ono.
