Give girls a sporting chance
Article Abstract:
Girls who participate in sports often have higher self-esteem than girls who do not. Teamwork and participation promote feelings of confidence that influence other aspects of their lives and can carry into adulthood. Ways to help encourage, but not force, girls to be athletic are presented.
