There have been different views of God in different religions such as Christianity, Judaism and Hindusim. Some people have argued that this shows that belief is an error. There have even been divisions within Christianity, and there has been conflict between different religious groups, which has led to bloodshed. Religion was suppressed in many communist societies, yet it persisted. Levels of belief vary from one society to another, with high levels among Hindus and Muslims, and less than 10% of people in the US questioning the existence of God.
