Tools to cut ramp costs

US-based MRO Software has developed a software product called Maximo, an asset management system designed for the aviation market, particularly ground support equipment, aircraft and facilities on the ramp. Maximo is used by airports and Korea's new Inchon international Airport has chosen the asset management system to cover plant and buildings from the runway through baggage handling to air traffic control equipment.

Eagle Industrial Truck has developed the Eagle MPV airline equipment chassis which comprises three models with standard widths offering a variety of lengths, wheelbases and power trains. The chassis is designed for applications such as lavatory servicing, aircraft heater/air conditioner, poptable water, maintenance lift platform,refueller, air st arter, ground power unit and conveyor belt loader.
