Media Planning agrees to team up with Havas

Media Planning SA of Spain and Havas Advertising SA of France have agreed to merge. The merged entity, to be called Media Planning and based in Madrid, will have annual revenues of $4.58 billion, making it one of the world's largest media service companies. The new company will offer advertising and media services in Europe, the US, and Latin America.
