Historic Canadian port waits for aid cash
Article Abstract:
Canadian government is planning to release aid of Can$15 million and more to ensure that Newfoundland port of Harbour Breton does not rely exclusively on fishing industry for local employment opportunities. The port lost substantial number of direct jobs because of overdependence on fishing industry to provide jobs.
