Hopes dwindle for U.S.-EU deal on aircraft aid
Article Abstract:
The European Union and the United States are negotiating aircraft industry subsidies in hopes of avoiding a trade war. Without a suitable conclusion the trade dispute may end as a World Trade Organization case. The trade dispute has exacerbated the bitter rivalry between Boeing Co. and Airbus S.A.S. and strained diplomatic relations between the United States and the European Union.
