I-CABLE, Clarent test new phone service
Article Abstract:
i-CABLE Communications Ltd. of Hong Kong will partner with Clarent Corp. of the U.S. to try out a Voice-Over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone service, which connects household telephones to the Internet through a cable modem and sends data at 10 megabits a second. The trial results will help i-CABLE determine whether to continue using the VoIP system.

Brocade develops switch to double speed of data transfers
