IBM, Lenovo plan joint PC venture

International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) and China's Lenovo Group Ltd. are discussing the possibility of forming a joint venture. The new company would own IBM's personal computer business. If the deal goes ahead, Lenovo is expected to pay up to $2 billion for a majority share in the company.
