IBM and HP push power to the people
Article Abstract:
IBM has reorganized its operations with effect from July 1, 2005, dismantling the unified Europe, Middle East and Africa concept. Pursuant to such changes to organization structure more power will be vested in IBM's country managers and client facing staff so that issues can be coordinated and resolved. HP is also limiting the management layers in the organization.
