ICICI BANK SET TO LAUNCH THIRD-PARTY NET BANKING

ICICI Banking Corporation Ltd has decided to offer its clients the option to make third-party payments within a few weeks. The bank had been prevented from offering this service earlier due to security considerations. But it has now set up appropriate security structures called firewalls. The bank's account holders can now make payments to parties having accounts in other banks with no Internet banking facility. (khr)

CITIBANK LAUNCHES EASY BUY LOAN

Citibank has introduced the Citibank Easy Buy Loan for two wheelers and consumer durables. It has signed up with 18 dealers for the scheme. Customers can avail up to 100 percent of the product cost. The scheme offers loans ranging from Rs10,000 to Rs50,000. Citibank credit card holders and account holders need no documentation for the loans. (rk)
