In euro zone, divergence grows wider

Divergence is increasing among euro-zone economies, with inflation at record-high levels, creating complications for the European Central Bank to establish interest rates. While manufacturing productivity remains comparatively well in France and Germany, Spain and Ireland are seeing more significant slow-downs. The ECB however is not expected to alter its 4% key rate.
