InBev, SABMiller post results aided by emerging markets

InBev S.A. of Belgium posted third quarter profit of 358 million Euros ($421.4 million) buoyed by increased sales in Eastern Europe and Latin America. SABMiller PLC of the United Kingdom profits fell by 24 percent to $650 million from $858 million, while earnings increased to $1.26 billion form $1.13 billion. Increased sales, particularly in beer have improved in emerging markets.

InBev S.A. of Belgium posted soaring net profit in the first quarter to 166 million Euros ($214.6 million) compared with 58 million Euros last year. Revenues were due to increasing market share in emerging markets. InBev S.A. is the largest brewer worldwide.
