Gaz Metro is the largest natural gas provider in Quebec, which is determined to popularize natural gas as a secure alternative to electricity. However, consumers take pride in hydroelectric industry emerged during 1960s Quiet Revolution and are unfamiliar with the use of natural gas. Nevertheless, the Gaz Metro campaign showed that natural gas can create a comfortable environment, and thus the company is definitely moving in the right direction.
