Leagas Delaney London joins Coke roster with Fanta win

Leagas Delaney of London has been selected by Coca-Cola to handle a specific project for soft drink brand Fanta. Details of the project have not been made public, although it was revealed that the project involves only one country. Cliff Freeman and Partners of the US took the worldwide Fanta advertising account away from DMB&B in September 1996. Leagas Delaney has recently opened an office in San Francisco, and plans another in the Far East.

Pepsi launches Radical 'New Age' soft drink
Article Abstract:
Pepsi launched the 'New Age' range of non-carbonated fruit-juice-based soft drinks in Spain on March 10 1995. The brand is to be marketed under The Radical Fruit Company brand, and first flavours include Tropical Passion, Orange Attraction and Lemon Obsession. Coca Cola has described the new line as a copy of its own Fruitopia range, launched in the US in March 1994, but which has yet to be launched in Spain.

Coca-Cola global campaign focuses on fans, not athletes

Coca-Cola plans to focus its global campaign accompanying the Euro 96 soccer championship on soccer fans rather than featuring athletes endorsing its products. The company will centre all its sports-related advertising and marketing during 1996 on fans as consumers, with its advertising slogan to be 'For the fans'.
