Lockheed Martin Corp. posted a decline of $41 million (39.8 million euros) for the second-quarter of 1999. The company has been experiencing difficulties as a result of the ongoing problems in its military aircraft and space businesses. During the same period in 1998, Lockheed Martin posted $289 million in earnings. The company posted a 59% in earnings for the first six months of 1999.
