The success of Mayor of London, England, Ken Livingstone's Architecture and Urbanism Unit will depend on the extent to which it can show quantifiable results, according to architect Mark Brearley, who will become a full-time member of the unit in Sep 2001. He feels that there is a need to foster enthusiasm about improving London.
