Long-term pay-off: former financial adviser unearths interest in dinosaurs
Article Abstract:
Anna Leong and her partner Brian Lerner run Dinosaur Merchant, Hong Kong's only dinosaur dealership, and own the world's largest private dinosaur fossil collection. Leong, 33, formerly owned a New York brokerage firm, and Lerner, 36, has been unearthing and collecting fossils since age 14. Together they sponsor several digs each year, selling the proceeds to Asian buyers for undisclosed sums. They recently sold a seven-foot triceratops skull, and now offer a 60-foot Camarasaurus Supremus and a Stone Age bison.

Negroponte on Asia
Article Abstract:
Digital technology is still not very widely used in Asia, even though many Asian countries are pioneers in the design and development of integrated circuits, according to Nicholas Negroponte, director of the Media Lab at MIT. However, directors of Asian companies tend to be extremely well read about the latest technology, and the Internet is beginning to be used in a number of specialised applications. The Internet has particular potential to add value to services offered by Asian companies.
