History of friendship
Article Abstract:
Relations between Turkey and Asian nations such as Japan and South Korea are positive and economic and military support has been forthcoming. Turkey provided South Korea with military aid during the Korean War while Japan has offered Turkey $200 million to $300 million in credit to promote Turkey's export industry. However, businesses of both areas find the distance between Turkey and Asia an impediment while another difficulty is that products tend to conflict rather than complement each other.
