Google.com, the most popular dot.com site is soon to launch its own free e-mail, Gmail, with 1 gigabyte's of storage free, but privacy is one major factor that cannot be guaranteed. There is a debate on the privacy issue, since Gmail will be checking mails to put insert ads in your inbox.
