Malaysia's AirAsia might buy 25 more A320 jets from Airbus

AirAsia Sdn. Bhd. and Airbus S.A.S. are negotiating a new order of 25 A320 jet aircraft, a deal valued at approximately $1.63 bil. Airbus would deliver the new jetliners in 2013 and 2014. The contract, if finalized would bring AirAsia's total order to 175 A320s, including options for an additional 50 craft.

Airbus secures order from China for 150 planes

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao is visiting France and has ordered 150 jets valued at $9.5 billion from Airbus S.A.S. for the growing Chinese air travel market. Both Airbus S.A.S. of France and Boeing Co. of the United States will give significant discounts on large orders.
