Cossette, PJ DDB big winners in '98

Cossette Communication Marketing and Palmer Jarvis DDB received the biggest advertising accounts in 1999. It was not reported how much of Cossette's $60-million billing from Bell Ontario was considered new business, but Palmer Jarvis' new business was valued at $41.4 million. Palmer Jarvis' contract includes Alberta Motor Association, Compaq Computers, Parmalat and BC Tel's TB buying.

Quebec's Metro picks Cossette
Article Abstract:
Metro Inc, the second largest grocery chain in Quebec, has awarded its advertising and media buying account to Cossette Communication Marketing in May 2000. The contract, which is worth $5 million, also includes work for Marches Richelieu, a chain of smaller grocery stores. Cossette Communication beat out Publicis-BCP, which had been Metro's ad agency of record since 1991.
