Molson shuffles marketing execs

Molson Breweries of Canada Ltd is implementing executive changes in its marketing offices in Toronton and Vancouver. The executive moves come in the wake of the merger between the marketing operations of its offices in Vancouver and Toronto. The former president of Molson's Western Canada division has become the head of the company's US business. The three senior positions in the Vancouver office have been divided between Tony Molena, VP of sales, Jeff Bannister, VP of breweries operations and Mike Cameron, director of marketing.

O'Neill to head Molson

Molson Inc has named Dan O'Neill president and CEO, replacing James Arnett who stepped down after three years at the helm for reasons yet to be revealed. Before his appointment, O'Neill was the company's executive vice president and COO of Molson's North American Brewing operations. He made his mark in the company after leading the restructuring of Molson Canada, the firm's brewery operations, and overseeing the seach for an advertising agency to handle Molson's flagship beer brand.

Labatt's Jaques named president
Article Abstract:
Interbrew North America and Labatt Brewing have named Fred Jaques executive vice-president and president, respectively. Jaques, who joined Labatt in January 2000 as senior vice president for business development, replaces Don Kitchen, who died in August 2000. This appointment is the third major personnel change by Labatt since June 2000 when Bill Durnan stepped down as president and chief executive officer of Labatt's agency Ammirati Puris in Toronto, Ontario.
