Multiple and bicriteria scheduling: a literature survey
Article Abstract:
Problems regarding scheduling typically require managers to evaluate multiple criteria prior to a final decision. Since a solution which is optimal with regard to one criterion would often be a poor choice with respect to another, the particular trade-offs chosen by the decision-maker can provide an insight into that person's thinking. A survey of literature on multiple and bicriteria scheduling problems is presented.

Simulation output analysis using the threshold bootstrap
Article Abstract:
Research describing degrees of consistency and unbiasedness of the threshold bootstrap is presented, with focus on outputs of simulations of discrete event. Particular attention is given to the use of Monte Carlo simulations to establish errors of sample mean.

Estimating the steady-state mean from short transient simulations
Article Abstract:
A method of gauging the steady-state mean performance from observed time-series is present. Steady-state mean performance is a basis for assessing discrete event simulation models.
