LOCAL CO IN KOCHI TO EXPORT YACHTS TO FRANCE
Article Abstract:
Parallel Ten Yacht Builders of Kochi have been selected by a French company to build and export yachts to France. The first yacht, with French design and technology and according to European specifications, will be shipped to France this week. The engines and sails for the boats will be procured in Europe and fitted in France. It is estimated that 10 boats of 7.20 metres length each will cost Rs4.5 lakh. The company also plans to build a bigger boat costing Rs1 crore. (khr)

BIDDING STARTS FOR AAI CONSULTANTS

The Government of India has undertaken a Rs3,000-crore project to revamp and privatise the Airports Authority of India (AAI). It has short-listed ANZ Grindlays, Jardine Fleming and HSBC among other bidders to act as its financial consultants for the project. The project envisages construction/upgradation of 5 airports.
