NTL to proceedon deal with Cable & Wireless
Article Abstract:
NTL Inc. has reached an agreement to purchase Cable & Wireless Communications PLC's residential cable television business. NTL will acquire the business for 6.3 billion pound sterling (9.46 billion euros) in cash and shares. The deal will also include the assumption of financial debts. The deal will make NTL the largest cable television company in Great Britain.
