Time to sell HSBC shares?
Article Abstract:
Financial analysts are currently evaluating the value of HSBC Holdings' shares as the Hong Kong government has just recently bought an 8.9% share in the bank. The Hong Kong government becomes HSBC's largest shareholder with the purchase and several analysts are wary of how the Hong Kong Monetary Authority will be managing its shares in the bank, fearing government intervention. However, the bank is still seen as one of the steadiest banking investment in Asia despite a 4% increase in its share price since the purchase.
