New targets for connecting passengers and bags
Article Abstract:
BAA has introduced key performance indicators (kpis) at London Heathrow Airport for interterminal passager and baggage handling for connecting flights. These kpis have been made possible by an IT solution developed by a partnership between Intermec Technologies, Controlforce and Concorde Express. The move is expected to bring London Heathrow Airport into line with the passenger and baggage rates at other major European airports such as Amsterdam Schiphol and Frankfurt.
