OM Gruppen's pretax profit climbs 9.8%

OM Gruppen AB reported an improvement of 9.8% in pretax profits for the first half of 1999. OM is a financial exchange operator based in Sweden. The company posted 268 million Swedish kronor (30.7 million euros) in pretax profits for the period. During the same period in 1998, OM reported 244 million kronor. OM reported a 20% rise in its consolidated sales to 928 million kronor.
