Oil producers can't talk down proices

The oil ministers of Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela plan to seek a production increase at the OPEC meeting of March 27. It is doubtful, however, that an increase in production will be enough lower prices.

OPEC discards plan to cut output quota

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has given up plans to reduce oil production. The decision, made at the group's June 2003 meeting in Qatar, could bring stability to oil prices.

OPEC delays changing quotas
