Oil sales in the pipeline
Article Abstract:
The privatisation of a fourth share in Italy's ENI, raising $7.3 billion, is one of a number of significant privatisations and trade sales in the oil industry worldwide. Petrobras of Brazil, Rosneft and Gazprom of Russia, and Kherson Oil Refinery of Ukraine are also earmarked for privatisation. Government sell-offs are also planned in the oil sectors in Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Turkey, China and Venezuela, while plans in India and Pakistan are currently being held back due to political and economic instability.

Airport auction in Bolivia
Article Abstract:
There has been strong interest from both Bolivian and foreign companies in obtaining the concession for the country's three international airports, in Santa Cruz, Cochabamba and La Paz. The capitalisation ministry is offering a three-in-one 'master' concession for an initial 25 years. The company which wins the concession will be responsible for commercial services, runways, ground handling and management. Air traffic control will remain in the hands of AASANA, the Bolivian state airports authority.
