Olivetti, Mannesmann are mum on suit
Article Abstract:
Olivetti SpA and Mannesmann AG would not make any public statement on a class-action lawsuit. The suit, filed by a minority stockholder of Cellular Communications International Inc. (CCIL) against CCIL, alleges that Olivetti's and Mannesmann's offer for the company is too low. Both firms have offered to buy CCIL for $65.75 per share. In the lawsuit, CCIL's management did not attempt to secure the highest possible price for the company's stock.
