Optimal ordering and pricing policies in a single-period environment with multivariate demand markdowns
Article Abstract:
A study on the optimal ordering and pricing policies in a single-period environment with multi-variate demand and markdowns is presented. The study features solution methodologies for each function when the pricing decision are predetermined, and when they are positioned as decision variables. It was established that the model is relatively susceptible to errors in the parameter estimates.
