Article Abstract:
British banks seeking to enter the investment banking field have found it difficult to gain a hold because of competition and a lack of investor confidence in their ventures. British investors are less patient and have a more hands-on attitude than their American counterparts and this fat proved to e a painful setback in these banks' ventures. Furthermore, the banks were pitted against experienced firms who had the expertise and influence in the field.
