Korean Architects Collaborative International
Article Abstract:
South Korea's new Inchon International Airport was designed by architectural firm Korean Architects Collaborative International (KACI). KACI says the design of the airport is based on the yin and yang, symbolizing the delicate balance of life. The design was intended to create harmony between tradition and technology. Passenger arrival, departure and transit at the airport has been placed on different levels, with moving sidewalks and bold signage.

Pat Cowell, Airports Group International president and chief executive officer
Article Abstract:
Airports Group International expects to further gain from the trend towards privatization of airport management services. The company predicts turnover to grow from $120 million to $250 million within five years. The company is different from others in the industry because it takes an equity stake in the airport. Governments typically prefer airport management companies to take an equity stake to assure that the operator is there for the long term.
