Peugeot weighs joint venture to build vehicles for China

France's Peugeot S.A. is evaluating a possible joint venture with China automobile maker Hafei to manufacture small commercial vehicles to market in China. Peugeot and Hafei, a division of AVIC I Commercial Aircraft Company Ltd., would establish a 50-50 venture for building minibuses and other light vehicles, a niche showing growth between 20% and 30% per year.
