Sears settlement in Diehard suit set at $63 million

Sears, Roebuck and Co. has reached a deal to pay $63 million to the U.S. government in order to end a lawsuit involving the company's DieHard batteries. The lawsuit covers Sears' advertising campaign for the batteries in 1994 and 1995.
