The Danish developer TK Development anticipates a continuous expansion in Poland. The weakening of the Polish economy is considered temporary, and Leif Christensen, head of TK Development's operations in Poland, expects that the economy starts growing again within the next twelve months. The company co-operates with major international retail chains such as Carrefour and Ahold in its activities in Poland. So far, four retail centres totaling 30,000-40,000 sq. metres each have been built. The fifth centre will be inaugurated in the spring of 2002.
