RIBA publishes new forms of D&B agreement for employment by contractor or client
Article Abstract:
New conditions of arrangement for architects involved in design and build projects are published by the Royal Institute of British Architect (RIBA). The conditions are intended for use with the JCT Standard Form of Building Contract with Contractors Design and comprise two documents. One document applies to the architect's employment by the client and the other covers employment by the contractor. Seven main situations are covered. Architects are warned not to become confused as there are three different agreements in use.
