Article Abstract:
Many families in Indonesia face food shortages and malnutrition according to a report by the World Food Programme and the Food and Agriculture Organization, due to severe drought, the economic downturn and political turmoil. Concentrating on agriculture would create jobs, and it is not so capital-intensive as manufacturing, and not as reliant on foreign investment.

Busang's aftermath: Jaded investors and lots of unresolved questions
